My Mission

As an introverted person, I am naturally shy and I have a small group of friends. Bartending was the last thing I thought I would be doing given my wariness for groups of strangers and attention in general. I was young and in school. Bartending made the most money out of all the jobs my friends had so thats what I went for. For about a year, I would have panic attacks before my shifts. I was offended easily and because I was new, was often heckled by guests about the speed of my service, and my disengaged demeanor. Feeling fed up, I purchased and read a book detailing human nature. The subject fascinated me and I found myself reading everything I could find on persuasion, seduction, human psychology and mental wellness. I Began implementing the things that I was reading behind the bar. Work became easier. I started to build regulars, started getting asked out, and made more money than I thought possible. I started to understand people better and began to work out a system to follow when meeting new people. A system that made people like and understand me in about the time it takes to drink a beer. Over time, I streamlined my system and honed my system. 100,000 conversations later and this is the system I use today.

My name is Bakari George. I am a professional bartender one of the oldest and busiest bars in Washington D.C. This is my system for charming politicians, tourists, and all kinds of locals.

The best thing about this system, is that you do not have to be a bartender to use it. You don't even have to be an introvert. I use this system at dinner parties, traveling, and any human interaction where I need to be sociable.

Just follow the system, and get the most out of life.
